Advancement Resources

Advancement gives Scouts a path to turn experiences into achievement. As Scouts learn new skills, take on challenges, serve others, and explore new interests, they progress at their own pace and gain recognition for what they accomplish. Along the way, they build confidence, independence, leadership skills, and a greater readiness to take on the next challenge.

More Than Ranks & Badges

The real value of advancement is not the badge—it’s the growth that happens while earning it. Through hands-on experiences, Scouts learn by doing, practice skills in real-world situations, overcome challenges, and discover what they are capable of achieving. Ranks and awards recognize that progress while encouraging Scouts to keep learning, leading, and growing.
