Merit Badge Summit connects Scouts with experienced counselors and professionals for hands-on learning across a variety of subjects. From exploring potential careers to building practical skills, these programs offer opportunities to earn Eagle-required and elective merit badges while discovering new interests.
Each Summit brings together knowledgeable instructors and engaging courses designed to support advancement, encourage curiosity, and help Scouts achieve their goals.

Learn from Experienced Merit Badge Counselors
Merit Badge Summit provides Scouts with quality instruction across a range of fields and interests. Courses are led by experienced professionals and knowledgeable merit badge counselors who share their expertise while guiding Scouts through advancement requirements.
Registration Fee: $20 per class.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds are available according to the following schedule:
- 100% refund when cancellation is made at least 8 days before the event.
- No refund for cancellations made within 7 days of the event.
All cancellations and refund requests must be submitted by email. Requests cannot be accepted over the phone.

Merit Badge Completion and Blue Cards
Merit badge counselors record completed requirements and submit completion information to the Atlanta Area Council following each Summit. Please allow time after the event for reports to be processed and entered into the registration system.
Understanding Partial Completions
Some Scouts may receive a partial completion when one or more merit badge requirements remain unfinished. This may occur when requirements cannot be completed during the scheduled session, require additional work outside the event, or have not yet been demonstrated to the counselor's satisfaction.
Scouts receiving partial completions should contact their original merit badge counselor or work with another approved counselor through their troop or local area to complete the remaining requirements.
Youth Protection Reminder: When communicating electronically with a merit badge counselor, Scouts must include a parent, guardian, or another registered adult leader in the communication. One-on-one electronic communication between an adult and a youth is not permitted.
Access Your Merit Badge Completion Reports
After attending Merit Badge Summit, Scouts and parents can retrieve completion reports and blue cards through the registration account used to sign up for the event.
How to Download Your Reports
- Log in to the AtlantaBSA.org account used for event registration.
- Select Events from the left-hand menu.
- Choose My Past Events.
- Select Merit Badge Summit.
- Choose Past and select the date attended.
- Scroll to the Registration section.
- Click the Reports button.
- Download the Completion Report (PDF) or the front and back of the blue card.
