Position Overview
The Atlanta Area Council is seeking positive role models who want to inspire, encourage, and guide young people as they develop into future leaders.
Program Specialists are part-time paraprofessionals who work directly with youth to develop leadership, character, and skills for life through Scouting programs.
Position Details
- Part-time position, approximately 30 hours per week.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Retirees, military personnel, Scouters, and college students are encouraged to apply.
- Scouting experience is a plus but is not required.
Desired Skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in sales, marketing, public relations, or administration is an asset.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are an asset.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and service-oriented.
- Committed to serving as a positive role model for young people.
